A Quick Look At Big Brother Australia

With the ending of most of the big US television series for the summer the focus shifts to the few remaining shows.
Big Brother Australia has been on air for over 48 days. It follows the generic format of the show, with a house of a collection of competitors battling to stay in the house to the end to win fame and fortune.
In appearance the Australian version of Big Brother feels much more American when compared to the UK version of the show (of which series 8 began a few days ago). This is mostly due to a much more commercial feeling of Australian episodes which are introduced with swish digital graphics and feature interactive games for cash prizes.
The house itself is pretty impressive an is much larger than the one being used in the current UK series. It includes a swimming pool, jacuzzi, gym and spacious diary room.
The show tasks also feel more unique than those used on other country shows. This range from having to hug anyone who talks to you to having to emulate new years celebrations in the garden whenever fireworks are played into the house and forcing the housemates to sleep outside for a week.
